The entrance in the cave is situated on an absolute altitude of 567 meters oriented to the North, North-West, being almost 40 m high and the gallery having a height of 100 m.

The name of the cave means “shelter” or “the house of the religious ruler”. The cave was used as a living place and cult place during the daci people. The name was taken over to Latin and in Romanian it resulted into Huda lui Papara.
