Lufthansa Group, including Austrian Airlines and SWISS partners, transported to Romania last year and more than 1.3 million passengers, 12% more than the previous year.
Romania growth rate substantially exceeds the company recorded traffic trends worldwide.
Lufthansa airline carried 12% more passengers last year, approximately 770,000 between Romania and its German hubs in Frankfurt, Munich, Dusseldorf and Berlin.
Globally, over 103 million passengers flew last year with companies belonging to the Lufthansa Group.
Last year, Lufthansa, Germanwings, SWISS and Austrian Airlines carried a total of 2.5 million passengers and 2.4% more passengers than last year.
