Geoagiu-Băi Spa
Geoagiu Bai is situated 18 km away from Orastie, on an altitude of 350m, on a hill, surrounded by a forest of beech and fir.
The curative qualities of the mineral waters are known ever since the dacic times when the resort was called Germisara.
The mineral waters of the resort are used for the internal cure and for the external cure. In the external cure there are affections of the locomotion system, the nervous system, the circulatory system and gynecological affections.
For the treating of the patients there are used muds, therapeutic gases, tonic bioclimate, and pure air.
